I shoot on everything from an 8x10 view camera to a gas station disposable. I learned my trade before computers were a part of it and, usually, I prefer to work that way. I miss Polaroids, I miss the tactile nature of film. That having been said, my Canons, Red Epic-X motion camera and laptop are always with me. The line between still and motion is almost gone and I often pull great stills from my Epic, light with cine equipment and I'm usually thinking about how the image will look both as a still and in an edit timeline. I'm equally comfortable  shooting in my studio or in some remote location with little or no support.
